Ingredients:
- 1 cup semolina (rava)
- 2 medium-sized potatoes (fresh)
- 2 green chilies (finely chopped)
- 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1 teaspoon red chili powder
- 1/2 teaspoon garam masala
- Lemon juice
- Coriander leaves English Simple Recipes (finely chopped)
- Oil (for frying)
Instructions:
- In a bowl, take semolina (rava) and add turmeric powder, red chili powder, garam masala, finely chopped green chilies, boiled and mashed potatoes, and a squeeze of lemon juice. Mix well while gradually adding some water to form a thick batter consistency.
- Peel the potatoes and grate them.
- Heat oil in a deep pan or kadai for frying.
- Take a small portion of the rava and potato batter and shape it into small English Simple Recipes round balls. Flatten them slightly to form discs.
- Deep fry the discs in hot oil on medium heat until they turn golden brown and crispy. Remove them from the oil and drain on a paper towel to remove excess oil.
