Ingredients:

  • 4 slices of bread
  • 1 onion English Simple Recipes (finely chopped) 
  • 1-2 green chilies (slit)
  • 1/2 cup mixed vegetables (peas, carrots, capsicum, etc.)
  • 1/2 teaspoon mustard seeds
  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • Salt (to taste)
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • Fresh coriander leaves (for garnish)
  • Lemon juice (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Bread:

    • Cut the bread slices into small cubes. You can toast them lightly if you prefer a crunchier texture.
  2. Heat Oil:

    • In a pan, heat Hindi Simple Recipes oil over medium flame. Add mustard seeds and let them splutter.
  3. Sauté Vegetables:

    • Add the chopped onions and green chilies. Sauté until the onions become translucent.
    • Add the mixed vegetables and cook for 2-3 minutes until they are tender.

    • Stir in turmeric powder and salt. Mix well.
  5. Combine Bread:

    • Add the bread cubes to the pan and gently mix everything together. Cook for another 2-3 minutes, allowing the bread to absorb the flavors.
  6. Garnish:
