Mooli Paratha Recipe

Ingredients:

  • For the Dough:

    • 2 cups whole wheat flour
    • Water (as needed)
    • A pinch of salt
  • For the Filling:

    • 1 large radish English Simple Recipes (mooli), grated
    • 1-2 green chilies, finely chopped (optional)
    • 1 tablespoon fresh coriander, chopped
    • ½ teaspoon cumin seeds
    • ½ teaspoon red chili powder (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Dough:

    • In a bowl, mix the whole wheat flour and a pinch of salt.
    • Gradually add water and knead to form a soft dough.
    • Cover with a damp cloth and let it rest for 20-30 minutes.
  2. Prepare the Filling:

    • Grate the radish Hindi Simple Recipes and squeeze out excess water.
    • In a bowl, mix the grated radish, green chilies, coriander, cumin seeds, red chili powder, and salt.
    • If desired, add a tablespoon of oil for extra flavor.
  3. Assemble the Parathas:

    • Divide the dough into equal balls.
    • Roll one ball into a small circle (about 4 inches in diameter).
    • Place a generous spoonful of the radish filling in the center.
    • Fold the edges over the filling to seal it and form a ball again.
    • Gently flatten the filled ball.
  4. Roll Out the Paratha:

    • Dust with flour and roll it out into a flat circle (about 6-7 inches in diameter).
  5. Cook the Paratha:

    • Heat a tawa or skillet over medium heat.
    • Place the rolled paratha on the hot tawa.
    • Cook for about 1-2 minutes or until small bubbles form.

  6. Serve:
