English Simple Recipes

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup paneer English Simple Recipes (cottage cheese), cubed
  • 1 cup green peas (fresh or frozen)
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 2 tomatoes, pureed
  • 1-2 green chilies, slit (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon ginger-garlic paste
  • 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
  • 1 teaspoon garam masala
  • 1 teaspoon coriander powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 tablespoons oil or ghee
  • Fresh coriander leaves for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Heat Oil: In a pan, heat the oil or ghee over medium heat. Add cumin seeds and let them splutter.Hindi Simple Recipes

  2. Sauté Onions: Add the chopped onions and sauté until they turn golden brown.

  3. Add Ginger-Garlic: Stir in the ginger-garlic paste and green chilies, cooking for another minute.

  4. Tomato Puree: Add the tomato puree and cook until the oil starts to separate from the mixture.

  5. Spices: Add turmeric powder, coriander powder, and salt. Mix well and cook for 2-3 minutes.

  6. Add Peas: Stir in the green peas and cook for 5 minutes. If using frozen peas, you may need to cook a bit longer until they're tender.

  7. Add Paneer: Gently add the cubed paneer and garam masala. Mix carefully to coat the paneer with the spices.

  8. Simmer: Add a little water if the curry is too thick. Let it simmer for another 5 minutes.

  9. Garnish: Turn off the heat and garnish with fresh coriander leaves.Marathi Simple Recipes

  10. Serve: Serve hot with naan, roti, or rice.
