Ingredients:
- 1 cup paneer English Simple Recipes (cottage cheese), cubed
- 1 cup green peas (fresh or frozen)
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 tomatoes, pureed
- 1-2 green chilies, slit (optional)
- 1 teaspoon ginger-garlic paste
- 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
- 1 teaspoon garam masala
- 1 teaspoon coriander powder
- 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
- Salt to taste
- 2 tablespoons oil or ghee
- Fresh coriander leaves for garnish
Instructions:
Heat Oil: In a pan, heat the oil or ghee over medium heat. Add cumin seeds and let them splutter.Hindi Simple Recipes
Sauté Onions: Add the chopped onions and sauté until they turn golden brown.
Add Ginger-Garlic: Stir in the ginger-garlic paste and green chilies, cooking for another minute.
Tomato Puree: Add the tomato puree and cook until the oil starts to separate from the mixture.
Spices: Add turmeric powder, coriander powder, and salt. Mix well and cook for 2-3 minutes.
Add Peas: Stir in the green peas and cook for 5 minutes. If using frozen peas, you may need to cook a bit longer until they're tender.
Add Paneer: Gently add the cubed paneer and garam masala. Mix carefully to coat the paneer with the spices.
Simmer: Add a little water if the curry is too thick. Let it simmer for another 5 minutes.

Serve: Serve hot with naan, roti, or rice.
