Ingredients

  • For the Gravy:
    • 200 grams paneer English Simple Recipes (cottage cheese), cut into cubes
    • 1 large onion, finely chopped
    • 2 medium tomatoes, pureed
    • 1/4 cup cashew nuts
    • 1/4 cup cream
    • 2-3 green chilies (adjust to taste)
    • 1 teaspoon ginger-garlic paste
    • 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
    • 1 teaspoon garam masala
    • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
    • 1 teaspoon coriander powder
    • 2 tablespoons oil or ghee
    • Salt to taste
    • Fresh coriander leaves for garnish

Instructions

  1. Prepare Cashew Paste:

    • Soak cashew nuts Hindi Simple Recipes in warm water for about 15-20 minutes. Then blend them into a smooth paste with a little water.
  2. Cook Onions:

    • Heat oil or ghee in a pan over medium heat. Add cumin seeds and let them splutter.
    • Add chopped onions and sauté until they turn golden brown.
  3. Add Ginger-Garlic and Chilies:

    • Stir in ginger-garlic paste and green chilies. Cook for another minute until the raw smell disappears.
  4. Add Tomato Puree:

    • Pour in the tomato puree and cook until the oil starts separating from the mixture.
  5. Spices and Cashew Paste:

    • Add turmeric powder, coriander powder, and salt. Mix well.
    • Stir in the cashew paste and cook for 2-3 minutes.
  6. Add Paneer and Cream:

    • Gently add the Marathi Simple Recipes paneer cubes and mix to coat them in the gravy.
    • Pour in the cream and sprinkle garam masala. Stir gently and let it simmer for 5 minutes.
  7. Garnish:

    • Garnish with fresh coriander leaves.

Serve
