Ingredients
- For the Gravy:
- 200 grams paneer English Simple Recipes (cottage cheese), cut into cubes
- 1 large onion, finely chopped
- 2 medium tomatoes, pureed
- 1/4 cup cashew nuts
- 1/4 cup cream
- 2-3 green chilies (adjust to taste)
- 1 teaspoon ginger-garlic paste
- 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
- 1 teaspoon garam masala
- 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1 teaspoon coriander powder
- 2 tablespoons oil or ghee
- Salt to taste
- Fresh coriander leaves for garnish
Instructions
Prepare Cashew Paste:
- Soak cashew nuts Hindi Simple Recipes in warm water for about 15-20 minutes. Then blend them into a smooth paste with a little water.
Cook Onions:
- Heat oil or ghee in a pan over medium heat. Add cumin seeds and let them splutter.
- Add chopped onions and sauté until they turn golden brown.
Add Ginger-Garlic and Chilies:
- Stir in ginger-garlic paste and green chilies. Cook for another minute until the raw smell disappears.
Add Tomato Puree:
- Pour in the tomato puree and cook until the oil starts separating from the mixture.
Spices and Cashew Paste:
- Add turmeric powder, coriander powder, and salt. Mix well.
- Stir in the cashew paste and cook for 2-3 minutes.
Add Paneer and Cream:
- Gently add the Marathi Simple Recipes paneer cubes and mix to coat them in the gravy.
- Pour in the cream and sprinkle garam masala. Stir gently and let it simmer for 5 minutes.
Garnish:
- Garnish with fresh coriander leaves.
Serve
