Ingredients:
- 200g Paneer English Simple Recipes (cottage cheese), cubed
- 1 tablespoon cornflour
- 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour (optional)
- 1 tablespoon oil (for frying)
- 1 onion, thinly sliced
- 1 bell pepper (capsicum), sliced
- 2-3 green chilies, slit
- 2-3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon vinegar
- 1 teaspoon chili sauce (adjust as per spice preference)
- 1 teaspoon tomato ketchup
- Salt, to taste
- Pepper, to taste
- Spring onions (for garnishing)
Instructions:
Prepare the Paneer:
- In a bowl, mix Hindi Simple Recipes the cornflour and all-purpose flour (if using), and add a pinch of salt.
- Coat the paneer cubes with this flour mixture.
- Heat oil in a pan and fry the paneer cubes until golden and crispy. Set aside on a paper towel to remove excess oil.
Make the Sauce:
- In the same pan, add a little more oil.
- Sauté minced garlic, ginger, and green chilies for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add the sliced onion and bell pepper. Sauté for 2-3 minutes, keeping them slightly crisp.
Add Sauces:
- Add soy sauce, vinegar, chili sauce, and tomato ketchup. Stir well to combine.
- Add salt and pepper to taste. You can adjust the quantity of chili sauce based on your spice preference.
Combine Paneer and Sauce:
- Add the fried Marathi Simple Recipes paneer cubes to the sauce mixture and toss well to coat the paneer in the sauce. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, allowing the flavors to blend.
Garnish and Serve:
- Garnish with chopped spring onions.
- Serve hot as a snack, appetizer, or with fried rice or noodles.
