Ingredients:

  • 200g pasta English Simple Recipes (spaghetti, fettuccine, or your choice)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 250g mushrooms (button or cremini), sliced
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream (or milk for a lighter version)

  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (optional)
  • Red pepper flakes (optional, for a bit of heat)

Instructions:

  1. Cook the Pasta:

    • Boil a large pot of salted water.
    • Add the pasta and cook according to package instructions, usually about 8-10 minutes.
    • Once done, drain the pasta, reserving 1/2 cup of pasta water for later.
  2. Prepare the Mushroom Sauce:

    • Add the minced garlic and cook for about 1 minute, until fragrant.

  4. Combine Pasta and Sauce:

    • Add the cooked pasta to the mushroom sauce.

  5. Serve:
