Dink Ladoo (Edible Gum Ladoo) – Easy Homemade Recipe

🔸 Ingredients (for 10–12 ladoos):

  • Edible gum (Dink/Gond) – ½ cup

  • Whole wheat flour – 1 cup

  • Ghee (clarified butter) – ½ to ¾ cup

  • Jaggery (grated) – ¾ cup (or as per taste)

  • Poppy seeds – 2 tbsp

  • Dry fruits English Simple Recipes (cashew, almonds, walnuts) – ½ cup, chopped

  • Dry ginger powder (saunth) – 1 tsp

  • Nutmeg powder – ½ tsp

  • Cardamom powder – ½ tsp (optional)


🔸 Instructions:

  1. Fry the edible gum:
    Heat some ghee in a 
    Hindi Simple Recipes pan. Add edible gum and fry on low flame until it puffs up. Remove and keep aside.

  2. Roast the flour:
    In the same ghee, roast wheat flour on low flame until golden brown and aromatic.

  3. Roast poppy seeds and mix spices:
    In a dry pan, lightly roast poppy seeds. Mix in dry ginger, nutmeg, and cardamom powders.

  4. Roast dry fruits:
    Lightly roast chopped dry fruits in ghee until golden.

  5. Combine everything:
    In a large mixing bowl, add roasted flour, fried edible gum (crushed a bit), dry fruits, poppy seeds, and grated jaggery. Mix well while warm.

  6. Shape into ladoos:
    While the mixture

📝 Tips:

  • Store in an airtight container. These ladoos stay fresh for 2–3 weeks.

  • Eat 1 ladoo daily in winter for energy, joint support, and warmth.
