English Simple Recipes

🧀 Ingredients:

  • Paneer (cottage cheese) – 200g, cubed

  • Butter – 2 tbsp

  • Oil – 1 tbsp

  • Tomatoes – 3 large (pureed)

  • Ginger-Garlic paste – 1 tbsp

  • Cashew nuts – 10-12 English Simple Recipes (soaked in warm water)

  • Cream – 3 tbsp

  • Kasuri methi (dried fenugreek leaves) – 1 tsp (optional)

  • Garam masala – ½ tsp

  • Red chili powder – 1 tsp (adjust to taste)

  • Sugar – 1 tsp

  • Salt – to taste

  • Water – as needed


🍳 Instructions:

  1. Make the cashew paste: Blend soaked cashews with a little water to a smooth paste.

  2. Cook the tomato base:

    • Heat butter and oil in a pan.

    • Add ginger-garlic Marathi Simple Recipes paste. Sauté for a minute.

    • Add tomato puree. Cook until oil separates (6–8 minutes).

  3. Add spices:

    • Stir in chili powder, salt, sugar, and garam masala.

    • Add cashew paste. Mix well and cook for 3–4 minutes.

  4. Add paneer:

    • Add cubed paneer to the gravy.

    • Simmer for 5 minutes.

  5. Finish with cream:

    • Add cream and crushed kasuri methi.

    • Stir gently and turn off the heat.

  6. Serve:

    • Serve hot with naan, roti, or rice.
