Veg Soya Pulao – Easy Recipe
✅ Ingredients (for 2-3 servings):

Basmati rice – 1 cup

Soya chunks – ½ cup
-
Onion – 1 medium (sliced)
-
Tomato – 1 medium (chopped)
-
Carrot – ½ cup (chopped)
-
Green beans – ¼ cup (chopped)
-
Green peas – ¼ cup
-
Ginger-garlic paste – 1 tsp
-
Green chilies – 1-2 (chopped)
-
Green cardamom – 2
-
Cinnamon stick – 1 inch
-
Cloves – 2-3
-
Cumin seeds – ½ tsp
-
Turmeric powder – ¼ tsp
-
Garam masala – ½ tsp
-
Salt – to taste
-
Oil or ghee – 2 tbsp
-
Fresh coriander – for garnish
-
Water – about 2 cups
👩🍳 Instructions:

Soak the rice in English Simple Recipes water for 20 minutes, then drain.

Boil soya chunks in hot water for 5-7 minutes. Drain, squeeze out extra water, and keep aside.

Heat oil or ghee in a pan. Add cumin, cardamom, cloves, and cinnamon.

Add sliced onions and sauté until golden.

Add ginger-garlic paste and green chilies, sauté for a minute.

Add chopped tomatoes and vegetables (carrot, beans, peas), cook for 3-4 minutes.

Add turmeric, garam masala, and salt. Mix well.

Add the soaked and Hindi Simple Recipes drained soya chunks, sauté everything for 2 minutes.

Add soaked rice and mix gently.

Pour in 2 cups of water, stir once, and cover the lid.

Cook on medium flame for 10-12 minutes or until rice is done and water is absorbed.

Turn off the flame and let it rest for 5 minutes.
